New Jersey–The Underwater Garden State

I am finished editing my book and I thought that I would post a  file to show what the final outcome will look like. It will still be sometime before the book is published. I want to thank all of you for voting for the cover. My final decision is to use the frilled anemones and blue mussels (cover eight) for the front cover and the North American lobster (cover six) for the rear cover. All the other photos will be in the book.

  1. Wow – I loved those pictures, and the book viewer was very cool. As a kid (and adult) along the Jersey shore I never saw much beyond the edge of the getty, but I always wondered what was out there, and I never imagined there was so much to see in New Jersey. I kind of thought you had to go to warm tropical waters to see beautiful creatures under the sea!

  2. For anyone interested, I just created a coffee table book on MyPublisher. It is 15″ x 11″ and has 100 pages of color underwater photos. They have a great deal going until February 8, 2011. The book would normally cost over $227 dollars. If you use the coupon code LOVEIT, you can get the book for $70 plus shipping and sales tax. Final cost for me was a little over $86. If you buy one, please let me know. I don’t make anything on the book but I did this for family and friends and thought that readers of my blog fall into that category. The link to the book is https://bookshelf.mypublisher.com/?e=OHm3Q8zJl3RMBvLYo1ZB2lRCtgEgqDBo&s=fb. You will have to create a free MyPublisher account and you might see a generic cover photo when ordering. Just make sure that the book is 100 pages long, is the
Deluxe Hard Cover with standard pages and the price should be a little over $227 before the coupon code. Any problems, let me know.
