About
I learned to dive in 1980 and made more than a hundred dives in the clear waters of the Caribbean before trying my hand at diving in New Jersey. Somehow surviving a frightening introductory dive, I have gone on to make more than one thousand dives off the New Jersey coast. My photos have been published worldwide and his credits include National Geographic, National Wildlife, Ranger Rick's Nature Magazine, Natural History and Geo (Germany).

I also enjoy aerial photography with a drone, astrophotography, especially star trails and travel photography.

I have a book about shipwrecks, artificial reef and marine life off New Jersey. To get more information about the book, click here

My wife, Veronica and I have traveled from the icy waters of Maine to the warm tropical Caribbean Sea and exotic waters in Indonesia. We have observed gray seals in Maine, mammoth humpback whales & bright yellow sea stars off Massachusetts, goosefish and lobsters in New Jersey, a leatherback turtle and Portuguese Man-O-War jellyfish off Cape Hatteras, North Carolina, manatees in Florida, sharks, colorful marine fish and loggerhead turtles in the Bahamas, huge puffer fish and colorful soft corals in Indonesia.
