In some cases, I have written articles in exchange for a promotional blurb. In the case of the Underwater Journal, an online scuba diving publication, my work was profiled in the marine life section of the magazine’s latest issue.
They used nineteen of my photos over ten pages. I was very pleased with the outcome. Here is another page:
If you would like to see the entire article, you can visit the Underwater Journal and subscribe for free issues or you can download it from my site here. My article starts on page 12 and runs through page 22.
I thought that this would also be a good time to mention some new pages on my website. I created a page called Reviews. It lists reviews of my book from my blog, Amazon, and online publications. I have also a page called Presentations. It lists where I will be giving presentations and doing book signings. It also shows which venues allow the public.

Herb, it was exciting to see your work in the Underwater Journal! We met you and Roni on a summer live aboard summer before last. I still am a rank amateur uw photographer, but love the fun of it. Will definitely have a copy of your book! Give our best to Roni! Sallie and Phil
