My thoughts about photography, SCUBA diving, computers & photography related items

I have been fortunate to be a freelance photographer for Northeast Boating Magazine. Most of the work that I do for the magazine involves boating and boating related stories. Occasionally, they will use one of my underwater photos to illustrate a story but it is not the norm. I was pleased when I was told that they were going to feature a photo essay of my underwater work in their May 2009 issue. Included are four pages of photos taken in the northeastern United States. I have included thumbnails of the pages below.  You can click on the thumbnails to see the full page and there you can click on the individual images to see the photos.

The images were taken in Maine and New Jersey. I love nature photography but my real passion is underwater photography. I have been doing it for a long time and I never seem to tire of it. Photographing in the northeast is much more difficult than it is in the warm, clear waters of the tropics. I try to get away once a year to a warm water destination to photograph. It is a pleasure SCUBA diving in a thin wetsuit rather than a bulky dry suit.
