I am not sure why the hawk only lands at your neighbor's house. It could be that it has found it a good place to catch dinner. Maybe your friend has bird feeders that attract lunch for the hawk. Maybe there isn't much activity around your neighbor's house and the hawk feels safe. All my comments are only guesses.

I have more of a question...There is a red tailed Hawk that hangs around where we live; But he only goes to my friends house across the field..(Its walking distance from my house)We also live in the country...Anyway he will sit on her roof,on her porch railings,on poles in her yard, but he never will go to anyone else's house or yard for that matter...It stay's right there till it leaves for good then it fly's away, but you can bet when it comes back,it goes right back to her house..Why do you think that is?Thank you very much..This has been going on for years and I was just wondering the reason behind this,if there is one..Have a nice day..And I love your pictures, they ARE very pretty birds, and pretty cool to watch..
