Image Directory Help Page

In February 2005, we have installed a new image browser. It will take some time before all images are migrated from their present location into the new program. You will notice changes in the new browser. You will now be able to search on key words and each image will have a caption and other pertinent image information. There is also a lightbox function that will allow you to pick some of your favorite images and then view only those images on the lightbox. This new browser will allow us to get photos onto the site in less time than in the past. The following information points out many of the functions found in the new area. The information will be updated as required.

IMAGE MAIN CATEGORY BOX

Starting at the top is a keyword search box. When you use the box, please remember to either choose a specific category such as fish, crab, eel, etc. or choose "All Categories" if you are not sure what category your image is in. The three round choice boxes below the search box offer more choices to narrow your search.

The E-postcard icon and text will direct you to the (Free) E-postcard help page with instructions on how to send an e-postcard.

The first line on the main box shows the total number of images in the total number of categories. The next line is a navigation bar. The text items on the left will take you back to the Gallery Index or move you around your subcategories. It currently has only one choice, "Top", which is the main category page of the Stock Photo Gallery. As you navigate deeper into the program, additional choices become available here.

The icons on the right are generic to all views. They do the following:

Top Icon Click here to go back to the main Gallery Index.
Click here to go to a page with common keywords and image links.
Click here to view your lightbox.
Click here to see all new images added within the last 30 days.
Click here to see a random selection of images.
Click here to have images play in a slideshow format. (This may not be shown in all views)
Click here to see the images with the highest number of hits
Click here to come to this page for Help.

The next line offers options that you can select:
